Jofrog is Knitfrog!
August 25 2007
Hmmm, so blogging? Right, I used to do that... Ravelry could really make me an even lazier blogger than I already am. It takes the place of all of the business aspects of knit-blogging, without the need for chat. Photo. Info. Done.
I do like the chat too, it's just finding the time and motivation. I've been sewing a ton of shoes lately for Kaya's Kloset, and playing with Kaya and Buddy a lot. Buddy is crawling all over now, so there isn't much sitting around or skipping out of the room while they are playing nicely to check email, blog, or even make food for me, the babies, or Naomi! Kaya is crawling backwards and frustrated that she isn't moving forwards! She'll get there soon though.
When she isn't crawling backwards Kaya can be seen chewing on the loose ends of a wool soaker that never got leg bands or had it's ends woven in.
I've made no less than 6 of these for Kaya, and 2 for Carol's son. I really love the wool. Her skin under the diaper looks so good and healthy when she's been wearing the soakers rather than a PUL cover. I know that there are a ton of great patterns out there, but all I'm looking for in a diaper cover pattern is quick and easy. They fit her well and I'm totally happy with the ones I've made using this pattern.
Okay, one more photo... if you insist!
