Jofrog is Knitfrog!
February 14 2007
We don't really celebrate Valentine's Day in our home, but I couldn't resist posting a picture of our dinner tonight. June can tell you how hard it is to take good pictures of food, but here's the best one. You certainly get the idea that we were eating pink food, off of red plates, with red juice! ...and I said we don't celebreate! And, in knitting news, I've been working on the sleeves for my Nantucket Jacket. I so want to wear this sweater, and my sleeves (two at a time) are almost to the sleeve caps so I sewed together the shoulders and collar today. Who knows how much longer the sleeves will take me, I primarilly knit while nursing the baby, and she's getting more efficient, which means less knitting time for me. I'm determined to be wearing this sweater soon though. Here it is in its red goodness! Valentine's Day

It's a Beet, Wild Mushroom, and Potato Casserole from this fabulous vegetarian cookbook. My best friend Miranda gave us this book years ago and I've been plowing through it. I highly recommend it to anyone who isn't a big meat eater.
