It's Almost Friday

Did you want to trade me some fabulous Lorna's Laces Shepard Sock for my fabulous Lorna's Laces Shepard Sock in "Baltic Sea"? Make me an offer before tomorrow and I'll pick someone to send my yarn to. Don't know what I'm talking about? Go here.

In other sock news, I finally wove in the ends of my Regia Silk socks and wore them. I guess that they count as my February socks for SAM3. I really like these socks, and either my floors have not been as cold, or the silk actually makes them warmer. If I decide it's #2 can I buy some more Regia Silk sock yarn? I'll have to see what new colors it's coming in these days!

I haven't started the second Taos sock yet, because those needles are being taken up by the Cables & Twists socks. I decided to just go with the pattern and see where it takes me. There was no adjusting stitch counts with this pattern, and I knit fairly tightly on socks. My stockinette swatch, on US2s came up with 8st/inch, not the 6.5st/inch that the pattern asked for! Really though, that's the perfect gauge for socks on 2s with 64 stitches, so I cast on. It's creating a really tight fabric that will keep my tootsies warm. Watch for progress on them soon.

...and don't forget to look through your forgotten LL stash for trade-able yarn. See you tomorrow evening with a trade!
