Artist in Residence

I'm not the only crafty person around here. My husband sometimes has artistic urges... sometimes they manifest themselves in an evening of painting, and sometimes they are months of planning for a small project. This past weekend the small project came to life.

In addition to him having infrequent artistic urges, he is a big fan of coasters. I know, who's a fan of coasters? My husband, that's who! He's also a fan of art, so with some tiles from Home Depot, some Modge Podge, and some pictures from a modern art book he made these!

At least two more are to come to fill out the set. After that the possibilities are endless. Knitting coasters for the next knit night? Sushi coasters for a sushi party? Who knows. Put in your orders, I'll see what I can do!
